Work Schedule:
AM / PM + on-call
You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Day Surgery Operating Theatre
Your key responsibilities are:
- Assist surgeon(s) during operative procedures, mostly an Eye Surgery. Ensure that appropriate documentation is done.
- Carries out Scrub/ AU nurse responsibilities in accordance to procedure(s).
- Coordinate with other units, escort and orientates patients to ensure a safe and seamless patient transport and transfer.
- Post-operative recovery Care.
- Participate in the review nursing protocols, policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
- Able to commit to 5 days' work week (off on Sunday and PH) and work on-call duties.
- Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board licenses.
- Candidates with no prior Operating Theatre (OT) experience who are interested in pursuing OT specialisation are welcome to apply.
