Work Schedule:
Rotating Shifts
- Critical Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, and lung transplants.
- Specialized Monitoring: Monitor patients requiring advanced life support, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and catheter-based left Ventricular Assist Devices (cVAD).
- Hemodynamic Care: Assess and manage hemodynamics, arrhythmias, and drug infusions, noting subtle changes to prevent complications.
- Patient Assessment & Planning: Assume accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work with clinicians, doctors, and nurses to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Support & Education: Provide patient education and support to family members to help them cope with the critical illness.
- Clinical Leadership: Act as a team leader during shifts and mentor junior staff or nursing students.
Requirements:
- Registration: Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate.
- Specialization: Cardiac/ ICU experience preferred
- Shift Work: Required to work 3 rotating shifts.
