The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound with high level of service quality, patient care, efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Perform all diagnostic ultrasound services according to standards described in SOP.
- Ensure examination is performed to the correct patient and observes safety rule and respective procedural consents described in SOP.
- Ensure accuracy in ultrasound reports and ensure all records are properly documented
- Ensure patients’ safety, physical and emotional well-being is taken care of during and after the examination.
- Perform on-call and after hours duties when necessary, ensure prompt response which is in line with the prescribed standard of the Hospital.
- Perform daily QA procedures on equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure optimal performance of these equipment.
- Perform any other duties as instructed by the Manager.
- Bachelor in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions or equivalent
- Member of professional institutions, local or overseas.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Sonographer
- Good customer service, telephone and public relations skill.
- Proficient in MS Office applications – Words, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Good command of spoken, written English, and a second language.
- Working knowledge of PACS system.
