Duties and Responsibilities
- Involve in daily routine lab operations including specimen collection, processing and data recording
- Operate equipment and perform appropriate quality control, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Attend to request for information (e.g specimen information, lab results and/or materials (e.g blood tubes, slides, blocks)
- Maintenance of lab equipment and support research, education and innovation when applicable
- Ensure compliance in safety, care and other applicable regulatory requirements of Lab
- Assist in clinical practice improvement activities if required
The contract is from February to September 2026
Dress code
- Shirt/blouse and pants
- Proper covered shoes
- No striking-coloured hair
- No ear accessories (for males)
- No dress-down Fridays (ie. no denim pants/skirts and jeans).
Working hours
- Monday – Thursday: 8.30 am – 6.00 pm
- Friday: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
1 hour lunch break
(within 42 hours per week)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in laboratory environment and/or relevant experience preferred
- Fresh graduate without experience may be considered
Vaccination requirements:
- Tdap (10-year validity)
- Varicella/Chicken pox (2 doses)
- MMR (2 doses)
- Hepatitis B
