About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and other imaging procedures. You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during the imaging procedures, as well as with other healthcare professionals to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.


A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedures, providing instructions, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI, as prescribed by a physician or other healthcare professionals. Evaluate the quality of images and provide accurate reports on the findings to the healthcare team for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Ensure that all imaging procedures follow established radiation safety protocols to minimize the risks of radiation exposure for patients and colleagues.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring that it is properly calibrated and maintained according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain clinical records, follow up with patients, and provide timely reports to healthcare professionals as required.
  • Participate in quality improvement and quality assurance activities to improve the overall quality and safety of the imaging services provided.

About you

  • Diploma/ Degree in Radiography from a recognized institution and AHPC Certification is a must.
  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to present a professional image and deliver top-quality customer service
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit in order to be standing for extended periods, lift and position patients, and operate imaging equipment.
  • A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
