The Opportunity:

We are looking for Senior / Staff Nurse – Specialty Care (Palliative) to join us for various disciplines to provide high quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for palliative patients in conjunction with the Palliative and primary team.
• Provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that will meet the patients' immediate physical and emotional needs
• Provide support and be contactable during office hours and offer assistance to inpatient and outpatient enquiries
• Collaborate with team doctors and allied health staff to provide continuum of care.
• Ensure patient’s successful transition from the inpatient setting to the community.
• Function as a clinical resource person to the Nurses and nursing training matters and issues related to the specialty
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
• Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position
• Relevant clinical experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
